editing MY PHOTOS
In the above photos you can see a 3 step process that went from a plain photo using a lamp for lighting to the same photo but with some different techniques used to give it a darker look and fade the lighting into the middle.
For these repetition photographs, I tried using a the same style as Lisa Milroy by using the lightbox technique to get an alive look, instead of using a lamp for lighting from above. I think it makes the photos look alive and brighter but the emphasis is still on repetition

DEVELOPING IDEAS-repetition photo shoot OBJECTS
Personally, this is one of my favourite pictures I took as it shows repetition in 3 ways but in one picture. Just one step on the elevator shows many lines with little indents going across the width of the stair. Then the 3d shape to the escalator shows more indented lines but going vertically across the width of the stair. But the main one is how the angle of the photo is looking up at the stairs and it almost gives the viewer an optical illusion as you cant tell if the stairs are going up or down. Also, by making the photo B&W, it makes the stairs look more mysterious.
This is another one of my favourite photos that I took as its a unique form of repetition and the way the picture is taken means that you can see all the little rectangular compartments but from a cool perspective. Its also been edited B&W to make it look more professional.
